This quasi luau also serves as the kickoff for PSC’s summer pigroasts—featuring a whole roasted pig and potent mai tais. (Since it’s also Father’s Day, they’re tossing in gratis pork sliders.) For an added touch, they’re putting on a vintage Hawaiian shirt contest—winner gets his own luau. So channel your best Magnum, P.I.

“Nestled between eucalyptus groves just inside the Lombard Gate, the restaurant is a blast from the past – celebrating comfort food and its own centuries-old history as military housing…more brasserie than barracks these days, this is the place to go for a night on the town – while still in the country.”

“A convivial, warm, and unpretentious vibe with a hint of nostalgia, whether you’re there for a cocktail or a full-on killer meal.”

“the restaurant serves one of the finest cakes in the city – a lemon chiffon meringue cake with layers of moist cake, mascarpone and a browned puff of whipped egg white on top.”

The Presidio Social Club is just a short drive from the church, it happens to be one of our favorite restaurants in the city, and was all around a great pick for our reception. It has a retro vibe, delicious food, and since it’s in the Presidio, it feels very “San Francisco.”
